The Inspiring Journey of Lindete Aja

Since childhood, Lindete has always shown a visionary spirit. Born in Maruim, Sergipe, she moved to Rio de Janeiro at the age of 16 in search of new opportunities. While working as a nanny for a family of doctors, she developed an interest in healthcare and even enrolled in nursing school. However, her true path led her to another field: beauty.

She started as a manicurist but soon stood out and became a professional waxing specialist. During this time, with the encouragement and support of her teacher Yolanda, she learned how to create her own natural wax — a skill that became one of the greatest hallmarks of her career.

In 2003, she opened her first spa in Brazil. Always committed to learning and improving, she specialized in natural aesthetics and post-operative therapies, working both in medical clinics and in her own spaces. Later, she decided to share her knowledge by training professionals in male and female waxing, teaching technical courses that helped many people start their own careers.

In 2018, she made the bold decision to move to the United States. This new chapter wasn’t easy: she worked in several jobs but never gave up on her dream of owning her own business. Through persistence, dedication, and faith, in 2022 she achieved her goal and inaugurated Aja Spa, now on American soil.

Throughout her journey, Lindete continued to study and expand her expertise, earning certifications in therapy, medical assistance, and post-operative specialization. Today, in addition to providing excellent services to her clients, she also trains new professionals through her waxing courses with Aja Sugar Waxing — a natural, exclusive product created by her and certified to ensure safety and high-performance results.
